Recognized by the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP), ID Pilates partners with studios to offer Mat, apparatus and Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training outside of our Buffalo-area locations.

Developing a teacher-training program requires an extensive curriculum, experienced educators, administrative systems and ongoing student support. By partnering with ID Pilates, your studio can bring an established training program to your community without creating one from the ground up.

We work collaboratively with host studios to select the appropriate training modules, determine scheduling and equipment needs, coordinate enrollment and prepare trainees for a successful educational experience.

Mat Teacher Training

Mat 1 and Mat 2 introduce trainees to the Pilates Mat repertoire, movement principles, effective cueing, class sequencing, modifications, and the skills to confidently teach engaging Mat classes.

Apparatus Teacher Training

Our apparatus modules, including Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, and Barrels, teach the Pilates repertoire for each piece of equipment while emphasizing movement principles, effective cueing, exercise progressions, modifications, and hands-on instruction.

Comprehensive Teacher Training

Our Comprehensive pathway combines Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, and Barrels education into one certification program, developing confident, well-rounded instructors through comprehensive coursework, teaching practice, and assessments.
