Throughout Samantha’s life she has been very active; playing soccer, running, spin classes, and HIIT classes are some of her favorites. She found the strength and stretching exercises of Pilates to be a great complement to her more cardio-based workouts. She finally realized that she could pursue her passion by working in the fitness field and stepped away from working in higher education to become a full-time instructor and the Studio Manager for I·D Pilates.

Samantha is currently pursuing her Personal Training Certification through ACE, and has completed the Pilates Teacher Training Certification through I·D Pilates, Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification through The Biomechanics Method, and TRX training. Samantha’s previous positions had her working at a desk for most of the day and Pilates has taught her the importance of movement. She enjoys getting to know her clients and helping them enhance their mind-body awareness, while providing exercises that are both challenging and functional.
