New to Pilates? Start here.

Whether you’re completely new to Pilates or simply new to our studios, we’ll help you choose the right class and feel confident getting started. With small class sizes and personalized instruction, you’ll receive the guidance you need as you learn. Explore our beginner-friendly classes and private-session options to find the best starting point for you. Most new clients can begin with a beginner-friendly group class. If you’d prefer individual guidance, a private session is also an option.

Our classes are limited to a maximum of six participants, giving your instructor time to offer guidance and adjustments throughout class.

A private session may be a better starting point if you:

  • Are returning after an injury, surgery, or pregnancy
  • Have specific movement considerations
  • Would feel more comfortable learning privately
  • Want a workout designed around your goals

Not at all. Our beginner-friendly classes are designed to help you learn the equipment, foundational movements, and terminology while working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Most new clients can begin with a beginner-friendly group class. A private session may be a better starting point if you have an injury or specific movement considerations, or if you would feel more comfortable receiving individual guidance.

Pilates Fundamentals is our most introductory option. Reformer is also appropriate for many new clients, while Release + Restore offers a slower-paced experience focused on mobility and recovery.

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required and are available for purchase at the studio if needed.

Please let us know before your first visit. Depending on your needs, we may recommend beginning with a private session and obtaining clearance from your healthcare provider.
