Our Deluxe Props bundle includes just about all of the props used in our online Pilates classes. This purchase includes: a half dome, resistance band, Pilates ball, Pinky massage ball, and foam roller. Learn more about all of the props below:
The half dome is a favorite prop in IDP classes and sessions. We use the half dome to stretch the calves, improve posture, and often to challenge balance and stability.
The resistance band is used in both stretching and strengthening exercises. It can be tied together to create a loop or left long, and can be used in a variety of positions: standing, kneeling or seated. The band is useful in hamstring stretches, kneeling or seated arm work, shoulder stretches, and roll downs, just to name a few.
The Pilates ball is incredibly versatile and can be used to add challenge and variety to your workout, or help make challenging exercises more accessible! We love using the ball to build core strength, challenge pelvic stability, tone the inner thighs, provide feedback to perfect your form, and much more!
The pink massage ball is a must have for anyone who is on their feet throughout the day, wears uncomfortable shoes, suffers from plantar fasciitis, or wants improved posture. The massage ball helps to release tension in the body and can be used not only on the feet but also the back, shoulders, hands, and calves. Releasing tension in the fascia (connective tissue) with the massage ball allows your body to move more freely and efficiently for less pain and better performance.
Similar to the pink massage ball, the foam roller can be used to release tension in the fascia. The foam roller covers more area and is considered more “general”. In addition to “rolling out”, we also love to use the foam roller for opening the chest, stretching the hips, mobilizing the body, and adding challenge and variety to Pilates workouts.
The half dome and foam roller are available in two densities: medium (white) or firm (black).
